This is a Battlestar Galactica (new series-old one was better btw) Stargate and Atlantis crossover.
Jack and Daniel are an established couple, but the slash is mild, it's the journey that they take with the Galactican's that's the story.
Major Cast of Characters-
General Jack O'Neill, former commander of the Stargate program now living in Wash. DC (watch Stargate)
Dr. Daniel Jackson, archeologist, anthropologist and linguist for the Stargate program. (watch Stargate)
Admiral William Adama, one of the leaders of the survivors of the massacre and head of the Battlestar Galactica
President Laura Roslin, elected President of the remnants of the last tribes of Kobol.
Major Lee 'Apollo' Adama, Viper pilot, son of Admiral Adama, married but in love with a fellow pilot, Starbuck.
Captain Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace, Viper pilot and married to Sam Anders and is very religious.
Vice President Tom Zarek, not very religious he was a seditionist and was in jail for terrorism before the massacre. On board he was elected by a majority as VP.
If you're not familiar with Battlestar Galactica, it's a sci fi show that has the (50,000) survivors of a massacre desperately looking for Earth because their history says it's where they're from originally. They're in their rag tag fleet of space ships-including Battlestars (hence the name) fleeing from the Cylon's-robots that they themselves created which became sentient, and tried to kill their creators. Sound familiar (can we say Replicators or Alterans? I knew we could)
One of the Battlestar Galactica pilot's inadvertantly gets into trouble and gets rescued by Atlantis's AG-1 team, which has Colonel Sheppard, Dr. Rodney McKay, Teyla of Athos and Ronon of Sateda. The survivors don't realize how tantalizingly close that they are to Earth, until told they can't go there. As a compromise, and so they understand ~why~, General Jack O'Neill and Dr. Daniel Jackson lead four of the Galactican's in a whirlwind tour of Earth...this is their story.
